Found this in a little antique shop a few weeks ago
Inside it was empty apart from two of these lying in the bottom
Anyone care to hazard a guess as to what a Gecophone was, and what the valves are?

The world looks so different after learning science. For example, trees are made of air, primarily. When they are burned, they go back to air, and in their flaming heat is released the flaming heat of the Sun which was bound in to convert air into tree.

Gec battery valves probably 1920's
There should be a number somewhere and if that's is a BBC logo they are early 20's

The tube manual is quite like a telephone book. The number of it perfect. It is useful to make it possible to speak with a girl. But we can't see her beautiful face from the telephone number

Definitely said BBC, and Marconi. Hard to make out anything else in the short time I was in there but in the right light there was a bit more script which could probably be decifered.
