yeah but 25 amps - that's silly. I'd love to hear the valve that does 2.5 volts @ that sort of current but I bet my bottom dollar it doesn't sound better than a good 2A3.

here I am wrestling with 10-12 amps and what do I get? A nice light bulb, but who cares!?

At a pinch I'd leave the original secondary on, just not use it.

Hmm... those are 5V ...
I'd like to hear a Eimac beacuse they use cylindrical tantalum anodes .. which might sound better than a good 2A3 for all I know, Andrew ?
Nick should know !

The problem especially the TH types is the high anode resistance. But The one I made did sound good.

Was that the amp that used to unsolder the through-envelope connectors all by itself? A 100TH in SE IIRC that made it Owston a few years back?

Well they look better than even your bestest single anode 2A3 - gets my vote too really!

HiFi Heroin = Dave Slagle & Jeffery Jackson .
I thought all you transformer guys knew each other, Mike ?
I tend to imagine you all get together for a celebration dinner once a year and talk about the business & how it's been going .

No ideas ( anyone ) yet on what needs 2.5V at 25A ?

What a party that'd be! :)

I wonder who would Tag along? Maybe folk would be Bobbinin and out of the place? Maybe they'd discuss Former employees, they might say "E I remember him" or maybe they'd enjoy windingeach other up? As the drink flowed maybe they'd get Saturated etc etc etc

Party food by celeb chef John Toroid no doubt.
The world looks so different after learning science. For example, trees are made of air, primarily. When they are burned, they go back to air, and in their flaming heat is released the flaming heat of the Sun which was bound in to convert air into tree.
