Fane 12-250TC Retro Speaker.

They look good, Steve.
Very interested to hear what you think of these as they break in. I'm still tempted by the 15" version for PA use.

Glad you're enjoying them Steve, the Fanes have a deservedly high reputation & they've worked hard on the cone decoupling & radiation angles to minimise the problems many designs with additional sub-cones suffer from.

All I can say Chris, is go for the 15" version. Don't hesitate; these Fanes are fooking awesome drivers
My own Fanes will be at Owston anyway, so you can make your mind up there.

How would you compare the two, and do YOU have a preference in your living room ?

Will they be there on Sunday?
Might bring a sub (or two) along and we can make a PA system of it.

Tried the Fanes with the pink SET - very nice.
Would need DC on the filaments to use it on a regular basis with speakers of this sensitivity in a small room like mine, but it should work with the Fanes, on AC filaments, without too noticeable a hum at Owston.
