A picture of the Alpair 12P on the baffles. The driver is no longer central, although I may have overdone the offset a tad.
And the crossover parts, yet to be fitted.

Finally the crossovers are fitted, took longer than I expected, but no worry.
I've hard wired the 2R resistor, but it's easy to change if needed.
I'm really pleased with how they sound now.

Well done, Philip. Enjoy!
By the way, I have here a very politically incorrect Enid Blyton 'Noddy' story LP. You'd love it. Maybe I could copy it for you sometime.

More listening this morning.
I've shorted the 2R resistor with a clip lead, the balance has changed with the new components. Probably the inductor resistance is higher as Colin T and Scott warned me about.
Still, it seems about right now.
I will be saving up for a better quality and air cored inductor.

I'm still happy with the balance with the 2R resistor shorted with a clip lead, so I must remove the resistor and put a permanent shorting link in.
