Yer table needs rewaxing :)

Nice work BTW (the speaker finishing, not the table condition...).

Yeh. The table is "distressed" and on the project list... along with about 30 other items :(

After the time and care I've spent on these speakers, they blooming well better sound good... :)

Your table needs rather more than just a rewaxing... :)

Actually, get the sander out, strip that varnish from the speakers and get with the veneer !

Ha! Thats not my table ... so ner! Thats what served me as a workbench in my old shed, A lump of plastic covered chipboard (from a horrible 1980's fitted wardrobe) screwed to a 4 x 4 clamped to the luggage rack of an Enfield Bullet. No really.

My Fonks will stay nekkid in Ply for now, however I might Venereal (sic.) the next project. That'll be a first for me. Looks easy.... :)

FINISHED! Started last March... New Year's resolution - Must Be Quicker !

Last photos (Thank the Lord for that, I hear you say...). First listening test - Amy Winehouse, Back to Black...

Well chuffed - for a small speaker, bass response and imaging are excellent - as near-field units they hit the spot for me :) :thumbleft:
