Just wondered if anyone was using a pair od Tannoy D900's. I am using them at the moment with a Teac AI-3000 amp. I find them a bit of a bugger to drive and hoping my Avondale Voyagers will give them a bit more of a kick up the arse. The Teac is no slouch being a 200 wpc beast but i think the Avondales may give more current to the D900's. Any thoughts?

This may not be any help but I find it slightly surprising you need so much power with these speakers. A friend of mine has the D700s (2x10") and they work and sound great with his 35w/ch valve amp.
