Not so much, there are several legal and ethical ways you could get to listen to that phono stage, i doubt there are any similar ways you could get to have sex with Reece Witherspoon.

Listening to hifi in a strange room in a strange system is analogous to listening to someone else describing sex with RW. My analogy stands

Why do you assume you could not hear it in your own system? If you asked me nicely and I was in your area I would bring one around. None of that is likely to happen with RW.

and anyway, your analogy didnt require having sex with RW in your own bed, that’s just changing the rules.
