Think this is the most I've ever spent in one go. Fitted it about four hours ago. Enthralling is probably the best description so far..

The nude stylus is scaring the crap out of me though.

I know the feeling, I used a LPS at Bristol a couple of years ago. It looked very exposed.

It's a lovely thing, machined from a piece of solid brass. Them there Swiss know their stuff..

Phwooooaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Nice, look after it Ali.

I once had a nuded DL103 mounted on a lovely tapped machine Aluminium block that left the cantilever and stylus exposed just like that. A combination of JTS and Jonny Starbux killed it by accident.

You little Tinker, Ali - very nice !
How do the vocals sound ? - Just read a couple of very good reviews.

Vocals sound great to me Mark. Natural and fluid are words that come to mind to describe it.

An occasional shoutiness, but I was playing rather loud, and it will need to run in. About 50 hours has been mentioned.

Had a good hunt on the net, not a great deal out there but some positive stuff as you say. Still have to play with VTA, VTF and anti skate, but I'll put a good few hours on it first.

Wow, Ali, that's not a exactly 103 money, good for you!

Without seeming rude, I shall now have to concoct some flimsy but plausible excuse to pay you a visit at some point.

Andrew

Yes that does look very fine…..enjoy!

Any chance of an Owston demo or would that be too high risk I wonder….

Can't make Owston this time sadly, it's Glasto week. Next time maybe.

Ok, you can't make it.

But your cartridge can, c'mon! 27 drunk folk playing with someone else's 2K cartridge, what could go wrong?!
