Ok so these have been found over the last couple of weeks, and maybe aren't finds of any sort.
They are from local charity shops and flea markets.
I got a load of Floyd lps from one local charity shop, saw them and just bought the lot there and then
Relics
Dark side
The wall
Piper
Animals
Wish you were here

More recently from another local shop
Frank sinatra and count basie, it might as well be swing

Flea market

Pet shop Boys actually
Michael Jackson thriller as mine was completely buggered

And today an early Elton John greatest hits. Theres nothing after 73 on it so it's probably the first of his greatest hits and the sound quality is much better than my copy of the ubiquitous very best of Elton John.

There was a des o'connor lp that i did consider buying to make an ashtray out of, but i managed to resist :D

I'm assuming that's not a Blue/black Columbia label on the 'Piper' there ?

From a fleamarket in a garden centre near us:
Image
Some nice old Ace of Clubs, Decca mono, Mendelssohn, Grieg, and Viennese pieces, plus a 10-inch mono, "Medium Play" Decca Rimsky Korsakov.
Nice condition and minimal damage from ten-ton pickups.
Not bad for a fiver, the lot.

A couple here I picked up in Keswick a few days ago.
Both discs are clean and in very lightly-played condition. Never heard 'L' so hoping that will be a treat - Dave will hopefully be impressed !
