A whole section on SS.... Is this legal?

Well until proved otherwise. I suspect it is legal.Is this legal?
Everyone is entitled to get distracted once in a while.
It's about finding out for yourself, exploring every avenue, keeping an open mind.
Then and only then , will you know if valves are still the way forward.
Much to learn there is.

Well I think all this audio stuff is good fun at the end of the day it is a hobby I am new to valves as a in the home Hi Fi but not in the proworld of music there are a lot of good solid state audio out there i.e. the J. L. Linsley Hood, M.I.E.E. with his 10 watt JLH amp plus nelson pass stuff theirs a good website if your think of building the JL|H class a Amp

There's a world of difference between the pro-world of music amplification (tho' for guitars, valves are still the desired condition) and domestic doodles.

So far, this bottom shelf section has only discussed the works/derivations of Nelson Pass. I wonder if we will go anywhere else ...
I'm interested that Mr Pass was the designer of ESS' amplifier that was quite happy chucking out the watts into the range of ESS speakers. I'm told that apparently Mr Pass, another big reputation man by the name of von Schweikart (wrong spelling, probably) (who worked with Dr Heil and then went to Elac) and Herman Hoffman are working on the next phase of loudspeaker that will continue using and developing the Heil Grand Master... but don't hold your breath.
