Hi gents,

Recently picked up a job lot of speakers that I've been working through, getting them working as needed etc. They're mostly ready to sell on now.

They're ex-nightclub, but I'm cleaning them up so they look as new as possible. All MDF cabinets painted grey.

Here's what I've got:
4x 12" + compression driver cabinets. Standard 2-way ported box. They actually sound pretty decent, with a nice crossover featuring air-cored inductors and poly caps. The midbass driver has a 3" voicecoil and a cast frame. Compression driver has a 2" voicecoil, and a constant directivity horn. Both components appear to be made by Beyma.
High efficiency and good power handling, as you'd expect from PA speakers.

7x 8" + tweeter cabinets. Good quality crossover, like the 12"s. The tweeters are those little poly dome ones, but these sound surprisingly good.
1x 8" + tweeter. This one has a different midbass driver, which feels extremely compliant. I'd be happy to get rid of that one for free, included in a sale of any of the other speakers.

You can find the datasheet here: http://www.alfaaudio.com.mk/ShowProduct ... &c=20&l=54

I'll be taking a measurement mic to them and pairing them up where possible, and will post up some graphs when I can. After a cursory listen, I expect them to look pretty good.

I'll be on holiday next week, so won't be able to reply for a little while, but send me an offer and lets see what we can work out.

Cheers all,
Chris

Here are some pictures of what you're getting. http://www.grimshawaudio.com/ecler-speakers

If anyone's interested in just the drivers, it might be possible to work something out. I can also measure the T/S parameters for you.

I took the measurement mic to them, and they both showed a similar curve, with a dip from 1-2.5kHz, which gives a fairly "relaxed" presentation. The 8"s stop at 80Hz, and appear to be voiced so they're good when up against a wall - they sound a little thin brought out into the room. The 12"s sound pretty good either way, while going flat down to 60Hz.
They're all high-sensitivity designs, with the 8"s rated for 93dB and the 12"s rated for 98dB. Great for low-power amplifiers.

A couple of the 8" cabs have tweeters with square faceplates. I assume those have been replaced at some point, but they sound fine either way.

Looking for around £40 each for the 8" ones, and more like £75 each for the 12"s. Happy to come down on price for multiples.
When I'm back from holidays I'll post some pictures of the drivers themselves.
