I don't know the answer to that but from books and media of him I think was ill for a long long time which doesn't usually make folk that happy. I read he was very sensitive to changes in air temperature and that there was a link to MS sufferers exhibiting the same behavior too.

Leeds Irish Centre is mentioned in the tour list for Nov 14th
but
it's not listed in the Irish centre forthcoming events
