#1 Signalyst DSC-1 Kit - Pure DSD Decoder

Post by Ray P »

I have a spare kit to build a Signalyst DSC-1 DSD decoder - a pure DSD DAC capable of accepting upto DSD512. I'm selling as I already have two other DSD projects on the go. The kit is the Chinese ebay version;

DSC1 DAC DSD decoding hardware decoder suite supports Italy Amanero XMOS | eBay

I am selling it with the following additional parts (all sourced from Mouser);
  • 64 Susumu 0.1% smd resistors (8K06, to replace the 15K0 kit parts - Signalyst published an update recommending 8K0 as optimal)
  • all of the plastic film through-hole caps (Wima FKP2)
  • complete set of the required op-amps (cost $45)
The only parts required to finish it are electrolytic PS caps and, if you choose to use them, some sockets for the op-amps. You'll also need a means of feeding DSD to the decoder - the input is intended to mate with the Amanero USB board but other USB boards or perhaps a Beaglebone or Raspberry Pi could be used with an appropriate config.

Remember, this is a DSD only project. There's a thread on the design here;

Please note, this kit is not assembled and requires SMD soldering.

I'm looking for £50 plus shipping at cost. I'll pick up the PayPal fee.
Sorry, I couldn't resist!
