#1 F/s bluebell audio walnut chassis

Post by cressy »

Hi guys, i dug out a bluebell walnut chassis that i never used, has the satin black aluminium top and is the 17 x 10 inch size. Current price for a new one is about 70 quid from bluebell.
Reason i never used it is that i wasnt happy with the mitre joints which are a little open so if i was using it i would have to put abit of filler in them. As you know Im very particular about this kind of thing.
Im after about 45 quid for it if anyone is interested.

Ant - could you post a picture of it, for me to check the colour of the wood ?
I'm using one of theirs ( looks like 17x10" ) as one channel of a bi-amp set-up . I'm not sure what the one upstairs is, on the wood though - looks like Ramin or something a little darker, maybe not walnut .

Wood looks very similar to mine. Is the ali top black painted ? , mine is shiny. Should be removable somehow anyway .
Will have that please - I'll sort out the details later. Just having some trouble (see other thread) , and need to get out on the bike while it's not raining !

Yep the top appears to be satin black paint, i thought it might be powder coat but it looks painted. Should come off with some paint remover i would think. Send me a pm when you're ready
