#1 WTB: Broskie ACF-2

Post by Ray P »

A bit of a long shot but would anyone have a Broskie/Glassware ACF-2 PCB they would be prepared to part with. Octal version preferred but beggars can't be choosers.

Got me all excited thinking Broskie had a pcb made up for the original a (augmented) cf-2. Sadly its not.

Not saying the A (Aikido) CF-2 isn't great, but it isn't the above.

Looks like you'll have to buy from the maker Ray?

Would happily do so Paul but they're out of stock and John Broskie is notoriously slow at restocking.

I'd steer clear of ECC99 - harsh and glassy compared to 5687 and 6N6P .
Like you , Paul, I was expecting the ACF-2 from McDonald's papers.

Via the wonders of Google I managed to track down a copy of the Broskie ACF-2 manual, tucked away on his TubeCAD site. If it isn't restocked by the time I want to build the project I'll consider doing a scratch build.

Mark, the circuit is very flexible with respect to choice of valve and the ECC99 isn't one I to hand...
