New member intro

Post by meerkat » Thu Mar 02, 2017 5:17 pm

Hello all,

I got the audio bug in college where my system was a Rega Planar 2 with Grace G-707 mk II and A&R Cambridge E77, Arcam Alpha tuner, NAD 3020 (later upgraded to 3140), and Mission 707s (later upgraded to Missions to 770 Freedom mkVs). But then my time and interests got side tracked in other directions.

I got reinfected in 2013, when I acquired a SuperNait, and a Cambridge Audio 840C CDP, and finally realized that with a decent DAC, CDs are not necessarily the embodiment of all that is evil.

If interested, you can check out my current gear at

Welcome, i like the car ?
Nice to see lots of modified hi fi too
The tube manual is quite like a telephone book. The number of it perfect. It is useful to make it possible to speak with a girl. But we can't see her beautiful face from the telephone number

Welcome ! - nice analogue front-end too - XX2/II is a jolly fine cartridge.

Welcome to AT. :)
Why, for example, should a group of simple, stable compounds of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen struggle for billions of years to organise themselves into a professor of chemistry? What's the motive? (Robert M Pirsig)
