As I just replied to the pm "Just stop positing then if its only about selling stuff."

No point in removing the user, if you did that, this thread would make little sense.

have I got this right? manufacturer of audio gear and supplier of audio modifications & upgrades logs onto a competitors site just to promote his own gear? I never learnt that in business 101 studies

Hi Jez,

I'm sorry if you found my post a little blunt. Unfortunately I have previous for this and most members here seem to accommodate me, no doubt with a  at the time of reading.

No offence was intended. Whilst we have never crossed paths, I am fully aware of you, your products and your philosophy from extensive reading on forums elseware.

I have no doubt you will remain welcome here and without doubt, you would have much to contribute to discussions if you choose to join in. Just don't treat it simply as a commercial opportunity, because that is unlikely to to be fruitful. Having said that, you never know. Positive contribution could in time lead to you making some sales.

Why not stay and join in? You will have valuable stuff to contribute and no doubt you'll learn some beneficial stuff as well.

Greg

It's the way he tells 'em!

It's a distinctive style certainly, and may take a bit of getting used to.

As he says we've got used to him.

:D

It's quite an unusual public relations policy to use the f word in public.

Simple answer, yes it can work very well. I am in effect doing that with a valve output DAC, valve phono stage, passive preamp and then a solid state (Pass Labs F5) power amp.

Ok Thanks Nick, as I have a Nice Power Amp (Akurate 4200) and would like to put a Valve Pre amp and Valve Phono Stage with it.
