Hello all,

Recognise a few names here; from the old WAD forum?

I'm a definite fiddler, if it's got valves or transistors in it; I'm interested.
I've gone full circle with valves, started off with push-pull, then single ended.
I've now gone back to push-pull.
My Pye PF91s wipe the floor with **ANYTHING** else I've ever heard.
Push-pull triode connected KT66s rule.

Hi-my only experience with PP KT66 is the pair of Quad 11's i have had for over 20 years now and i used to think they were the dogs dangly bits, particularly after they were re-resistored and a few capacitor mods.

Now,to be honest, they are at the bottom of the preference ladder.

My favs at the mo are the 832A PP (with CCS mod) and the ECL82 "Doddington special" SE monoblocks with super silly HD dual mono power supply.

Where are you situated ?

Hi and welcome to our world.

As pre65 mentioned it would be useful to other members to know where abouts in the world you reign.

Interesting your now preference of amp. Any chance you can bring them to the Owsfest meet we are having in April?
