Hi and welcome, headphones is one thing i dont own..maybe I should get some...
Incidentally, you probably know already - there can be quite a difference between choosing headphones to match a phone or similar - as opposed to reasonably powerful hi-fi equipment and there will be people on here qualified to advise accordingly. Den.

You're well-placed to get to the next Owston Hall meeting - be good to see you there.

Don't Burnley have a football club that's almost as good as Oldham Athletic?
Yep!
They're only 54 places above Latics on the table.

I don't practise anything like enough, hence the Mangler bit :)

Why would that have a bearing on my not practising anything like enough.
In all likelihood I'd similarly neglect a Les Paul too

Time is a precious thing. If you wanna play you will play and if not, well the guitar will make a nice ornament. A new guitar may excite you enough to continue practicing - but may not either. Sometimes practicing with a friend helps, rather than by yourself. Whatever works for you basically. Try a different instrument perhaps - one that doesn't take as much time to learn? Sell the guitar and buy some music?
