Superb. The guitar is such a powerful instrument.

Try the bit at 8:22 for maximum effect , but it's all good -

While we're on the subject of guitarists.
Sabicas was quoted as saying that Paco de Lucia had become the finest flamenco payer ever, but Paco de Lucia begged to differ, saying Sabicas was the best :

If you watch from 0.14 to 0.25 with the sound off it looks like Percy Jones is doing a really tricky sum.
Thats an interesting vid innit, it shows him 'playing' with sounds on the fretless. Like.

So what's that Bass there, Dave ( the Bass) , looks a bit special to the casual bystander ?
Good effort, but his noodling face will never be as well developed as Robin Trower ! - masterclass !Dave the bass wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 8:51 pm If you watch from 0.14 to 0.25 with the sound off it looks like Percy Jones is doing a really tricky sum.

Talking of Robin Trower, I spotted him playing a Gibson SG during his Procol Harum days, when I was watching this Youtube Vid.IslandPink wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 9:03 pm So what's that Bass there, Dave ( the Bass) , looks a bit special to the casual bystander ?Good effort, but his noodling face will never be as well developed as Robin Trower ! - masterclass !Dave the bass wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 8:51 pm If you watch from 0.14 to 0.25 with the sound off it looks like Percy Jones is doing a really tricky sum.

I subscribe to Rick Beato's Youtube channel, so I get to see a lot of very interesting vids.

Bass face is traditionally different to guitar face.Good effort, but his noodling face will never be as well developed as Robin Trower

There's nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be

As a very highly experienced bass player of many years I can tell you that the bass guitar in question is a 5 string fretless.IslandPink wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 9:03 pm So what's that Bass there, Dave ( the Bass) , looks a bit special to the casual bystander ?
Thank you.
