Just played it again this evening - superb, really nice and probably better than 'Light as a Feather', but why not have both :)
Meanwhile, I said the other day to someone at work that I must listen to 'This Was' by Tull some time, again. Not played it for years.
Course this is on an 'IslandPInk' and the recording and pressing quality is all that you'd expect . Enjoying it now.

That's one of the few good records I ever got at a charity shop. Not played it for years, but remember it was good. Bit of the Kevin Ayers about him , as I remember.

This should appeal to Incredible String Band fans, and maybe to one or two others ... :

don juan's reckless daughter....

just got the sv572 breadboard out of storage and the ariels and thought I'd go through a few tunes to see if the kit still works....the sv572 with it's outrageous 3 watts is not quite man enough for the ariels but it's a very intimate sound.....it may well hide it's light under a bushel at owston...we'll see

6 albums from Kevin Ayres.
1 King Tubby compilation.
1 from King Crimson.
And lots of The Kinks too.

It's been a letter 'K' day down the shed on the Squeezebox.

Traffic - The low spark of high-heeled boys with a glass of pinot grigio. Pretty good. :D

... aaa-and the verdict is, yes David Bowie's BTWN is definitely nicer on the CD, versus the iTunes download, sort of more meaty and without the treble scratchiness, even after imported into iTunes (I'm now on 3rd playing)

Love were not really normal, even at the start, I only recently found this clip. I like it that the 'pop' audience are looking a little bit uncomfortable at this slightly twisted performance that has the seeds of 'Forever Changes' contained in it.

It's a bit nippy too
