Happy Birthday awethumne album!

I wore that image on a T shirt today to a local pub. Also there was a fella with a Vibrators T shirt and another fella with a Kiss 'Destroyer' era T on too. We had a great beer fuelled chat about music.

In hospital by the looks of it Chris, there's a crowdfunding page set up for him. Erks.

Mandolinist, David Grisman’s Dawg Trio plays tunes & sings songs:

Lovely stuff, with a back porch and rocking chair vibe that brings a smile to your face.
Found out Grisman was a long time friend of the late Jerry Garcia and that they did quite a few acoustic music collaborations; Garcia calling Grisman’s mix of country, bluegrass, and jazz ‘Dawg Music.’
There’s plenty to explore on Apple Music, so I’ll be taking a
listen to some of Grisman’s other collaborations.

I’m getting a taste for Americana. Must be my age. :)

Currently perusing Colin Hay’s solo stuff on yoo toob, no idea he’d done so much stuff post Men At Work. Some great tracks if you like simple acoustic stylee. Try “I Just Don’t Think I’ll Ever Get Over You”

Here's a little bit of 'off the wall', I hope...

Sebastian(9 year old son) insisted on having dinner from the newly opened local fish and chip shop, so we obliged, and amongst the order was a chicken burger(yes I know, I'm an undercover veggie...moving on). Anyways, the burger turned out to be one of those heavily reconstituted things and immeidately put me in mind of pressed ham(the stuff that used to come in oddly shaped tins)...

which led by word association football to pressed rat and warthog.....

so guess what I put on the old music player next...

yeah but then I took to thinking about the meaning of the song...

talk about falling down the rabbit hole....I thoroughly recommend youse guys researching this if you're inclined...

my take is that it's indeed about food, what with pressed rat, dog legs, feet etc...all on the menu soemwhere in the world. Unfortunately we can't get hold of Ginger and water board him anymore...well we could, but I doubt it would reveal anything

as you were

On the original 42 years old double vinyl. Cost me a bleedn’ fortune in Jan 1977.
Made for autochangers, with sides 1 & 4 on one record and sides 2 & 3 on the other; an annoying Motown policy for double albums in those days.

But the music...I mean....what is there to say. :flower:
Just fab!
