wow split enz +1, thanks Steve.
I think I'm going to be listening this morning, don't hear much about them these days. I saw them at the roundhouse in 1977 or 1978 and been a fan ever since.

I can recommend Dizrhythmia if you haven't got it. my take is that all the Finn brothers stuff has mellowed since, but still toe tappin, rippin toons.

Thanks for the recommendation Ed.

I got into the Enz via the “I Got You” single in 1980. Then bought the “True Colours” album.
Apart from the psychedelic laser etched, reflective vinyl which was great, the music was wonderfully inventive. “Waiata” was even better, though some pundits thought it wasn’t. I lost track of them after that until the Finn bros reappeared on my radar years later with Crowded House.

Talking of Crowded House, and selected before I saw your post, Steve, I'm now playing this.

Bah! 'Enhanced ' not warped on them brill albums :D I've had them 3 on rotation for the previous 3 weeks commute .

I've got limited storage on the phone at present so its forcing me to repeat a limited selection of albums over and over again which is good in a way because I'm really paying attention to each album and not being distracted by a mahoosive playlist and library.

This week its...

MC5 - Kick out the Jams.
MC5 - Back in the USA.
Morphine - Bootleg Detroit.
Credence Clearwater Revival - Chronicle.
Don Rendall Ian Carr - Dusk Fire/ Shades of Blue.

Cover art tricky on the phone!
