I like the way SH constructs his solos, it feels like you know where he's going but theres still enough variety to keep you focused.

Yep. Would have been interested in hearing what he did 10 times in a row.

That may be true, but what I was interested in knowing was what aspect of the solo was improv and what was repeated.

Is there no end to the greatness of British Jazz in the 1960's ?
I hadn't come across this one till now, found it by leafing through Record Collector, finding the most expensive albums and checking them out on Youtube.
