I don't know. There's enough folk (about 250 last night) who want to hear CB + TMB music so I hope it does continue. Drumbo is 69 though, summat he alluded to a few times last night, he was 19 when he met CB and recorded 'Safe as Milk', SAM was released 50 years ago, erks!

Let's hope he gets bored when retired ...

Meanwhile while in 'Vinyl Tap' in Huddersfield I declined the offer to spend £237 on an original copy of 'Blues Obituary' by the Groundhogs.
Instead I bought a CD of the album for £7.99 as a taster.
I need to report the brilliance of this track :

Encores were a better than studio pounding driving version of Glider and then after the curfew.... Drumbo came out did Orange Claw Hammer, raw , dramatic, animated.

Awesome x millyuns .
just to wind Mark up, I'm feeling a tad mischevous....
the guitarist(the lunar note one) broke a string before the interval and took an age to restring which gave JF the break he needed to to do claw hammer while the guys just whistled and ambled about a bit.....sorry Mark...dramatic, theatrics phwoarrr

This has to come out this time every year:

George Winston - December - on original Windham Hill vinyl.

Never tire of this around Christmas time.
Lovely.

some controversy there I believe
Dweezil's not allowed to use the name any more, his mum took him off the Christmas card list before she died. A whole bag of worms regarding the estate and who can do what or use which names.

I was chatting with Jimmy Carl Black(little name dropping shit that I am) some time back when he was with the muffin men and he said then that all the copyright stuff was getting painful and complicated.

make it ourselves of course!

Inspired by Mr Shaman, I've had a bit of an ECM fest today.

Pat Metheny - New Chautaqua and Watercolors.
John Surman - Witholding Pattern and Saltash Bells
Arild Andersen - Hyperborean.

Gentle hum from the SET, crackle of the log fire, this wonderful music and it adds up to:

Total chill out man :flower:
