Tosca to you two.
I'm swigging cotes du rhone, lounging on the sofa, Anna is cooking (!) something that smells delicious and the Puccini crew are warbling away - death etc bad outcomes etc etc
Soul full and me belly will be full.
Cup runneth over situation - oops!!!!

I watched a documentary about Dean Martin and it seems the "always slightly pissed" bit was part of his act and not in reality.

I know that, and I know how good that Two Ronnies sketch was.
Meanwhile I've just listened to the Fall 77-Early years -79 and 'Slates' and my obsession with the band just grows. How could anybody be that good that quickly ?

Yes that was his gimmick.
He also got mileage out of songs like "Little Old Wine Drinker Me". Altho that was first done by Robert Mitchum, believe or not.

Valletta has a (respect-able) vinyl emporium Mark, if you're ever down this way.
