Vendaface by Chris Zabriskie.

Very modern arty and weird but strangely addictive.

Couple on today while I was working through my accounts for the tax year. And year end wot I should have done in November......bought a Nirvana compilation on vinyl from hmv this morning so that went on, eye in the sky again, gets better on a second listen ( and a good clean) and first level 42 album again.

Kept up the spirits while poring over the spreadsheet trying to find the error in the figures.......
Found it eventually, tbh if it hadnt pissed it down all day I would have done some other work.......
Need to update the website too forgawdsake

Note to self
Must not leave it so long between updating it......

Last evening we went to see the Endellion String Quartet; it's really good to hear real live music to give all the audio stuff some perspective.

The world looks so different after learning science. For example, trees are made of air, primarily. When they are burned, they go back to air, and in their flaming heat is released the flaming heat of the Sun which was bound in to convert air into tree.

It is.

We walked to a local pub last night and saw ...

Ace drums and guitar duo. I gigged with the guitarist about 16 years ago, he was good then, he's blisterin' now. A good fun night at a local pub and it was nice to catch up with him.

Aye saw a live local band "The Storm Trees" who hail from Worksop Notts. My wife's looks after an young man with autism. His mum had hired them to play at his birthday bash yesterday, which we went to for the afternoon.
Puts hi-fi into perspective as you guys say.

In comparison to the live experience, most "hi-fi" sounds like a dry brittle husk from which all the living essence has been drained; which is why IMO your system needs to put the music above all else, if you want to have any hope of long term satisfaction with it.
