Nah, I haven't heard from Tony/FBS in years. We're 'like-that'. I don't think he found the forum to his liking that much TBH.

Safe as Milk - CB + TMB.

I've listened to so much Beefheart recently, does anyone else go through phases like that where you revist someone you've been listening to for years and just think..."y'know what....thats still flippin' awethumne".

Absolutely . I love the way you can come full circle and that great band you listened to before now sounds even better. Happens regularly with the Beatles, I might easily find myself listening to their first album some time soon and thinking how amazing and perfect it was.

SAfe as Milk is a very good example of just this happening to me - I'm glad it does.
Philosophers have only interpreted the world - the point, however, is to change it. No it isn't ... maybe we should leave it alone for a while.

here's what happens if you find a thread and start digging, some of you may know this chap, but I'd only heard enough rumours to think that he didn't really exist, perhaps that he was a pseudonym for Don. Not so! seems he co-wrote all the songs on safe as milk.....

follow the intro to the poem..

I thought I knew the radar station pretty well, but this link eluded me, until now

Yup,in the 1st book on Beefheart I read there was mention of Bermann being a 'writing credit' for Jan (VV) IIRC.

Then a while back I read this, and thought...oh! -> http://www.beefheart.com/i-was-a-scribe ... ks-part-1/
