Having enjoyed listening to an earlier album last week I purchased the latest CD.

The album doesn’t disappoint there are some stand out tracks, never heard anything from Johnny Cash’s step daughter before, she adds another dimension to the album. Shame that a CD from 2017 doesn’t have any album metadata on it, that’s two unknown albums on the music server now, the other one bring from the early 80’s.

I must have seen Manfred 4 times or so at the music weekends we have been to, he goes off on some weird musical journeys live, as long a he plays the two songs everybody knows the crowd is happy. You can have too much of a good thing once we had an evening set, of the Enid followed by Manfred and topped of by Procol Harum. You can have too much prog :D

Bert Jansch Crimson Moon, from an unplayable cd ripped and ported over to the vortexbox- sounds okay to me.... so far.

Really enjoying listening to this after 20 years of ignoring it... Takes me back over 40 years to seeing them live at the Trowbridge Folk Club with my then girlfriend who is my wife of 42 years and counting... amazing to think we have been together all that time...

I never saw them live, and probably would be disappointed if I saw them now... were never the same without makeup.

Controversial..... was it unedited, remixed? Live and dangerous would be my choice, which is definitely an amalgamation of 3 live sets. Both are great albums Didn’t every band from the 70’s have a live in Japan album? Then Backmore ruined it with Rainbow live in Japan.

Interesting .... Jonny Cash at Folsom Prison seems to have been voted the best live album ever. Very clear there are a lot of differing tastes and opinions, of the best live album ever...

Well, fashions see to come and go - and the voter demographic. There are so many polls with wildly differing results out there. Any live album list has to include James Brown live at the Apollo in 1962... and Frampton of course !
