Workingman's Dead... It started with Tom Waits and up to Live Dead 70 something, the era I got to see them, the night after The Four Tops at Hammersmith, looking forward to Casey Jones as I stir the curry & warm through the popadoms...
If I'd burned things I'd go to Aoxoh......
can't spell nor remember but our American nephew showed up this after with a book all about ....
I don't take dope..... *stuff so, given my age and all I'm gratefully dead, far out.

Philosophers have only interpreted the world - the point, however, is to change it. No it isn't ... maybe we should leave it alone for a while.

Listened to the first side of wishbone 4, all of thin lizzy bad reputation, and gong angels egg whole I was working on something. Having to go do the school run interrupted the wishbone ash lp.
Enjoyed all three, they all want a clean, and I plan to give the wishbone ash and gong another listen later.
I wasnt sure about the gong lp when i bought it, heard gong spoke of in hushed reverent tones by our dtb, but haven't actually ever listened to anything of theirs. enjoyed it alot though so I'm looking forward to giving it a proper listen later

And on the CD (and elsewhere you get this)
Whenever an honest man discovers that he's mistaken, he will either cease to be mistaken or he will cease to be honest.

Gong, properly sat down and paying attention this time.
I appear to have found some specialist music that SWMBO actually doesn't mind. Found her song,
Im happy
I'm not happy
I'm sad
I'm not sad
Cool

Yeah but, its doesn't work there on that album IMO. I usually like the extra 'bonus' tracks on CD reissues but IMO Ooby Scooby Doomsday is right out of place there at the end of Angels Egg. Its jars against the the closing of 'Eat that Phone book'. Especially with the little 'bye bye' at the end. Thats it, end of.
Ooby Scooby is a good song but it doesn't fit there, someone is very very naughty doing that but they need to be told off and given 100 lines or summat (IMO).

Got a couple of live John Mayer albums lined up at the moment, this one
and this one
When they're both done I'm going to play Angel's Egg myself - it's an old friend I haven't heard in a little while

Agreed about it being cool, its actually so cool that in summer you have to open the windows to let warm air into the room to get the ambient temperature back up again. S'true!
Enjoyed Flute Salad -> Oily Way yet? Control your trousers, they're going to try and flap with excitement!

Yep listened to it all, more gong is in order methinks.
Green? Steve hillage? If so then yes I have it here somewhere
Change of pace to wishbone 4, both records are much better after a clean
Prefer this to argus so far, for me argus tries to disappear up its own arse, i find it a strange album to listen to.
