Christmas music.

A Classic FM two CD set of traditional Christmas songs.
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.

I dug out my scratched Nantucket Sleighride LP this morning... The perfect way to finish of the last working day of the year, 3 hrs left, of tidying up my inbox and admin :(

Fresh out the envelope. Back to 1982, techno-funk in accession, George Clinton goes potty in the studio with it.

I loved this album when it came out and played the cassette of it on auto reverse for ages, never owned it on vinyl but finally got it on CD now, 38 years after it came out.

Coooooolio (IMO).

Listening to one of my Xmas presents Wild Flowers by Tom Petty. No sure if the new collectors edition LP’s are any better than the original CD version I already have..
Browsing through the “Complete Hipgnosis” another present, the back story behind some album sleeves is quite interesting.

Really! It’s an appalling recording! Even remastered I doubt it’s much good. Have to say I was happy with it back in the 70’s on my student system, ho hum.

I have the full remaster Yes collection... they are no better. It’s a shame I enjoy listening to them wish they had been recorded right in the first place.
