This has been on rotation both at home and at work for the last week. Sorta like a Kiwi version (pronounce as 'verrrrrrshunnn') early UB40 but dubby-er and a bit darker in tone too. Love the album 'Based on a true story'. Anyone else heard of them or know anything about them? I know our SimonC does.

He does indeed. From Wiki... (so it must be true!!! )... ""Hope" was written and recorded over two days under the influence of LSD, according to interviews.[7] Each blotter"individual dose"of that type of LSD, popular in Wellington at that time, had the image of Fat Freddy's Cat (from Gilbert Shelton's comic strip The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers) printed on it. Dropping"common slang for taking LSD"Fat Freddys became the inspiration for the band's name"ed wrote:does fat freddy's cat figure in this?
