Awwwwww... he's awethumne live. Saw him when he was promoting the album 'Tones' back in the 90's.
A Guitarist mate (and Johnson-follower) and I went, he chose an opportune quiet moment between songs to shout out ina nerdy voice the classsic line "Eric! I want your babies!"
Went down a storm.

Should I say I think compared to Hendrix and SRV I think that version is kinda sterile? Lacks passion, imo, one for the musos only perhaps.
Uh-oh, here I go again, I gonna 'get sussed' again, but that's what I think. Maybe I'm just a pleb cos I don't care much for Joe Tarasamalata either

S'alright To'
I went to see Robert Cray once, and it was a bit like going to a lecture
I quite accept EJ might not be everyone's bag.
If you've seen Jimi then I completely accept where EJ falls short too

Way back when, friend had a spare ticket to see him at The Albert Hall, offered it to me for nothing.
I replied, thanks, but I'll pass, I have to fix my motor scooter.
So, how have I felt ever since?
