Ok chaps, you've all been keeping a bit quiet, but I think some of you must have seen the Sonny Rollins evening on BBC4 last Friday .
I've been working my through the recorded info, and I have to say that some of it will have to be filed under 'Highlights of the 20th century' .
The 1974 concert from Ronnie Scott's looks to be one for the ages. The piece immediately after the bagpipe item ( which was a great & interesting ensemble piece in itself ) was truly cosmic and had me transfixed.
Let me know if you noticed anything .

I watched it, I agree, it was fab. Can't imagine where the Fast Show got their Jazz Club from

Philosophers have only interpreted the world - the point, however, is to change it. No it isn't ... maybe we should leave it alone for a while.
