What do you know about the guitar ed? sounds metal strung but very acoustic. Can't tell if the room echo thud which gives the 4th beat all the way through is a hand slap on the guitar or some type of percussion instrument. It says in the write up there is a drummer.
Have you been to see him live? can you shed any light?

I havn't seen him live(yet), but to answer your question there is a bit in the comments list for that track, relating to him playing without bottom E and tuning 'close' to dadgad. Also with a drum machine.
