Chill out with Spanky and Our Gang.
But I'd like to get to know you... (yes I would)
But I'd like to get to know you... (if I could)....
Pure sunshine

Time for livin'
In a 5th Dimension
Via Stoney End
The 5th Dimension and Barbra Streisand songs show what a genius songwriter Laura Nyro really was.
And of course what great interpreters of her songs 5th and Barbra are.

Edmund Ross came up in the conversation on Friday night. Now I have an itch I need to scratch...
Is there a 'greatest fabby hits of Edmundo' available for the curious and totally ducking insane to purchase anywhere, he wondered?

Have you a fever or a high temperature per chance? It could be affecting your judgment and perception....

24 love songs might not be the first place to start but for 1.99 Inc p&p it's a ...waste if time and money :-----;) smirks

Forgot about this one until I played my "Best of the Lovin' Spoonful" the other day.
Soulful harmonica playing from John Sebastian perfectly captures that "easy" feeling.

From my collection:
Benny Lipman Orchestra and Singers - The Girls From Paramaribo.
Forgot about this pure slice of Sunbeam Alpine on a coast road in the south of France.
Definitely needs an airing at Owsters.

I came across the Baja Marimba Band via Herb Alpert and his Tijuana Brass.
Looks like Frank Zappa stole his look from them.
I'll Marimba You.

This classic Herb Alpert track from 1969, is just so cool, it's sub zero.
Written by Harry Nilsson, Herb's version is definitive for me.
A further bonus is that It gives your system's dynamic performance a jolly good workout.
Lulu's version is a cracker too.

Can't find any Lulu versions on youtube Greg
"Without Him" was the B side of the supremely awful single, " I'm a Tiger"
Very "baroquey" You can get an idea of it on iTunes by searching out Lulu - The Gold Collection.
