Guys, maybe you can share your fav blues tunes, I'll kick off the proceedings with Buddy Guy, this has got some of the heaviest bass i've heard on a blues track.

Often ignored as a quality blues guitarist

Whenever an honest man discovers that he's mistaken, he will either cease to be mistaken or he will cease to be honest.

Yes that first Budy guy posted has a lot of the seed information for the later contemporary rock particular thinking of the style of Ritchie Blackmore (if it was him on Made in Japan) I know they had a few changes when Burn came out. I prefered the original line up. but this Budy guy has all the style which they obviously drew on, maybe even Hendrix copied it.

Really? Mk1 was pre-Gillan and Glover. Mk 2 was my personal fave.

Yes I like Made in Japan most and the albums before it which it is made of. I didn't like Burn when my dad bought if for my birthday the style had changed. so we crossed over at that point I guess.

Yep Hendrix quoted Buddy Guy and Albert King as big influences.
