Recently re-discovered The Raven by Rebecca Pidgeon, great voice, good songs and a fine recording.

The SACD version is the icing.....

Funnily enough, I have just been listening to a few of her tracks on the Chesky Audiophool Demo Discs. Very nice voice and nice songs too.

Have you got Livingstome Taylor on the disk too? Another good listen.

Yes. Fred Hirsch Trio, Joe Henderson, Monty Alexander, Sara K. and McCoy Tyner too. They are all good 'uns. ;)

I've seen 'The Raven', but never heard it. She certainly looks like an interesting lady. I've also seen her in fillums, as she is a reasonably well known actress. The only bit of her I've heard is a snatch of a song called Ffearr a Bhatha (Sp?) on a sampler from somewhere or other. Nice enough voice, but I again found myself asking whether, on this evidence, she was worth following up. Convince me.
