If you’re sick of the usual Christmas dreck (Mariah Carey, Slade, Wizzard, Wham, Band Aid, Jonah Lewie, the bloody Pogues, et al) then this is a nice alternative.
I’ll move onto the classical choral stuff later on in December, but this great sounding (Capitol Studios again) collection, is a gentle, sometimes silly but always affectionate intro to the festive season.

the album Slor(with an accent over the o). I just heard the track in my shoes on Paradise and it startled me out of the Sunday afternoon stupour. I'm not sure what the genre is but I'm gonna buy this on the strength of that track.....

We've been listening to the internet radio station "24-7 Psychedelic Rock (UK)" a lot recently, there's so much we never heard of on there. Its not all brill, there's some right crud, but there some proper top tunes in there too.
