Stackridge. One of my favourite bands, and from Bristol too. Used to have a fan club called the Rhubarb Thrashers who would turn up to gigs with sticks of rhubarb used to thrash their mates with. I have their complete catalogue. Well worth exploring their other recordings. ‘Friendliness’ is a favourite. Nice one, Steve.

Need to look in to that ....

Meanwhile, a soundcheck that is better than some bands' entire discography 1 :
"The bass is the king of the instruments - it has no known natural predator" (Wobble)

What Are You Listening To Right This Minute? Not so much what I'm listening to right now, but out of interest listen to what the modern yoot are listening and dancing to thesedays! Phwoooaaarrrr, I'd like to have been there. Our-Jonny Starbux went to the Ozora Festival in Hungary and videoed this inside one of the tents.

Not arf, that's a festival I'd like to go to. System 7 and Shpongle have been there.
