The track 'Arion' is extremely good, just listening to that now. The use of fretless bass is very much to be applauded.

Rock Bottom and Madcap.
I have a list with top 20 and top 100, which slightly needs updating.

Care to post them?
I would be really interested. Seems we have quite similar tastes
Difficult to pin down though!
Today's top 20/100 might be different to next weeks!

Yes, agree it must fluctuate from week to week, let me dig it out from my work computer.

Well I failed today due to an unexpected presentation to some American visitors at 5mins notice ! .. but tomorrow will be different. I can say that Bryter Layter and Pink Moon are on there, plus Sgt. Peppers, plus Surrealistic Pillow, Rock Bottom, K.O.B, Bitches Brew, Liege & Lief ...now Mark Fry I have never come across. I think though I really have a soft spot for 'Madcap' it might have to slip out of the top 20 and will have look at what else goes up - maybe 'Under Milk Wood' or 'Jackson C. Frank' ( s/t ) , who knows ... or even 'Slates' by the Fall, I am so increasingly impressed by them. Hopefully I will never be certain about this :D

The charity shop in Cavendish now has an upstairs as well, and a much bigger selection of wares.

They are selling CDs @ 4 for £1, so I splashed out on £2 worth.

Now listening to Bing Crosby singing Christmas classics. What a truly magnificent voice that man has. :D

Loved the series Mr J Bolam played a good part with his crumpled raincoat :D .

Bix's music was a real treat too in fact back in the early 80's when it was released by ITV Yorkshire I went out and bought some of his work, which your post has prompted me to dig out and give it another play. :D
