#1 PSU Electrolytics

Post by izzy wizzy »

I seem to have an electrolytic failed in my EAR509s. They are over 30 years old so I guess that's about right. Never owned anything that long before.

I used to like BHC electros but they seem to have disappeared from the usual suppliers in my short look. Any ideas?

I need 4 x 680u 400V 35mm diameter. I was just going to go with something like Nichicon from Farnell
http://uk.farnell.com/nichicon/lls2g681 ... dp/8813388

Is there any recommendation out there? Ultimately I may need 8 to do the other one as well to ensure they're all the same. 8 go for £71 delivered.

thanks,

Stephen
