This project has now ceased to be, and it's somehow cathartic to be taking it apart, knowing that parts of it will be reborn in the MoFo amp.

Although I had no part in the circuit design, I got a lot of pleasure getting it up and running.

So, goodbye Pass 50W single ended Mosfet amplifier. :(

Did it ever have that 'person singing in the room' hit you get from SET? Is it all about second order distortion anyway?

To be honest, no.

It's so long ago since I last used it that I'd be hard pressed to describe the sound.

I took it to Owston a few years ago and no-one rushed up to me with glowing praise. :roll:
