Awww, yeah, me too, I've never owned one of those Rickenbackers. They split the output from the 2 pickups and call it 'Rick-o-sound' IIRC. S'funny because they're quite often associated with rock muso's but Dave Brubecks Son Chris used a fretless version on this... ... but it doesn't sound like yer...

I have the vinyl, and I like it rather a lot. The playing is slick, and the recording is superb, so the whole is possibly a touch too practised for some. The Isaac Hayes cover "Out of the Ghetto" provides an edgy counterpoint to the overall light, tight, funky stylings of the bulk of the a...

Looking at the spec I'd suggest finding the user manual and have a good read through the PVR section - the way things are worded on the Ebuyer site it looks as though the HDD is not integral to the TV, and it's just the ability to send data to an external HDD, independent of what's being watched tha...

I've not seen any TVs with a built in PVR. Our TV does have a USB connection, and can record programs to an external HDD connected to it, but the TV has to be on, and it will only record the channel you're watching. I wouldn't combine the two items anyway - if the PVR breaks down then the whole sheb...

I quite agree.
However, a cat or dog or child could easily tread on a cable, and if the stands are metal, or if the plugs on the cable short out then there could be quite a serious kaboom moment.

I'd beg to differ - cables would be more likely to fall out with the plates the other way round.
Just look at commercial speakers ;)

Nice looking speakers btw :)

Sounds like you'll need both a CNC cutting program and a CNC routing program.
A number of the big boys use CNC routers extensively.

The Les Paul went to its new owner today - I had merely checked out its authenticity and overall condition and picked it up from its previous guardian. I'm sad to see it go, as it had a wonderful feeling neck, and it sounded great played either clean or dirty through the baby Blackstar. It was nice ...

You like holding a good, hard bit of wood in your hand?

Probably more due to their iconic and cultural significance.

Sadly the Les Paul is off out the door tomorrow :(
Also note that Pearl (the left side Strat) is now sporting 3 single coils. The SSH scratchplate has been removed and boxed for the time being.
