Probably totally el stupido but it was about using a small 1-1 transformer between the 6.3V AC source and the valve.

Could it possibly have any benefit ? (noise wise)

I typed "transformer covers" into Google !

I didn't bother to save the results as the request was for UK suppliers.

If you go outside the UK there is more choice !

Why are these CCS chips (10M45s) not more widely used ?

The 210V HT was after the last cap and before the "choke substitution resistor" !

Might order less anode chokes and more grid chokes now.

So how does one calculate that ?

At the moment my max HT is 210V and I'm running the anode at 154V and somewhere between 5 - 6 ma.

Suppose I could run it at less HT though.
