Hi Steve

I can't make it on Saturday, have a family 'get together' to attend but I might try for Sunday. I have some stuff I could bring but it seems you are well attended and have a lot to get through, so maybe just the body?.

Is it ok to do Sunday only?

ahhhh

could it be that when lifting the heater to avoid exceeding the heater cathode limit, as in srpp, that this stray crud you mention could account for some hum??

I've just taken some online hearing tests. I can just about hear 13kHz. 14kHz and above is totally gone. Looking on the bright side, I don't need to spend any money on super tweeters :) Very true if you build audio equipment to play test tones. I play music on mine, and I find that a supertweeter c...
