Wanted 3.5mm mono jack.

I need one 3.5mm mono jack plug to convert a 9V adaptor to fit my new bench DMM.

RS do list them but only in 10's !

Anyone got one spare ?

Fee to pay.

I had a "fee to pay" card from Royal Mail this morning.

Seems someone has sent me a card and underpaid by 0.08p.

It has just cost me £1.08 (£1 handling fee) to arrange to get the card delivered !

I hope it's from someone I like.

My original PT15 had quite a low HT, but the current PSU (scuse the pun !) was originally designed for a different amp, then modified to get just over 400V. I find it difficult to describe amp sounds so perhaps another who was at Owston (DTB ?) could have a go, DTB really liked my GM70 and is going ...

Hi Pete My original PT15 amp (with the lightbulbs) was recycled. I built a KT66 SET based on the James D circuit with cathode bias by resistor and then that was modified to take the PT15. There is a thread on this "PT15 revisited" It has a dual mono power supply and two monoblock amps with...

1st step has been to raise the HT a bit. Inserting a 1uf before the choke has raised the HT from 307V to 363V. Not quite the 400V that DTB is using but that will be alright for me. I will play them for a bit before going onto the next stage, that is anode choke, only 200H not 400H like DTB. But I no...

Well, good as I thought 26 pre was, I have to agree with Andrew regarding the WAD / WD pre's. Went back to Pre3 for a comparison and it seems to be as good as the 26 had got to be. So 26 pre will be retired for the time being unless I come up with any ideas of another project to use the bits. Perhap...
