i've had another night messing, i cant imagine any thing touching these beyma's... i've had a night of listening to more challenging music, all peaks and trumpets.. they have sounded just fine, really dynamic, so lifelike.. its not like me to go on about kit... i was going to mount them in the speak...

Steve, apologies for the slight digression; did you ever try the Lowthers with a front horn? Ray That was one of real choices, the main issue for me is the rising response the best early lowther cabs used reflectors, into a front horn, the hegeman horn does the same, taming the rising response, and...

those are the ones colin, with the horns.. beat those prices though but not by alot.. still playing now,and they seem to getting more silky.. I need to wind some more inductors later if i get chance.. once i get them sorted over the next week or so, i'll get them in the living room see how they comp...

well they arrived this morning i took a few minutes at lunch time to disconnect the lowthers and clip lead the beymas in, sounded 'polite' and ok... mmmm left them running all afternoon and went and did some work, just got back..and so far they have changed quite a bit, they have a clean 'rightness'...

the bass keeping up is not a worry for me, if it turns out that way, i'd be very suprised, and pleased that i have would then exceed the performance of the CDs .. but i somehow doubt it the beyma's are supposed to be very fast and 'very' low distortion, with a very flat response around 102 dbs which...

some nice kit there andy but A2 Amps... sounds like you'll fit in well around here... BTH speakers... very intersting... theres not much info about cinema stuff out there, i have a set of 3 BTH amps and their power supply, i believe from a SUPA but its hard to find any info about them, welcome..
