Thanks, that's just what I would like to install. I've bookmarked it for reference - first thing I need to do is get something in chain to replace the horrible uPVC front door the previous owners installed! I've started to scout out reclaimation yards.

I've had a quick look at the Bulb site and it looks good from a renewables perspective but i couldn't see anything similar to the Octopus agile service - do you have a pointer?

Like it says on the website, its a beta service so maybe not widely publicised. The starting premise looks good, your rate is set daily based on wholesale rates and there appear to be real advantages to switching to using energy overnight. I'll be reading it properly later.

My current tariff arrangement is up in a couple of months so I've started to scout out the available deals and it looks like it's worth exploring further.
