If it's glowing away nicely but no sound, I would check the HT fuse first. :)

'Chance In A Million' was brilliant, I've tried looking for it online and drawn a blank, so you're probably right. Madness!
Just had a look on ebay, it's now available on DVD.

Personally, I am not a fan of fixed/single speeds, but they are definitely fashionable at the moment. A lot of it has to do with "courier chic", imitating bike couriers, who liked fixed's because of their excellent control and agility in city traffic. I like gears and plenty of them. :D

I think it was the first time anyone tried using a special set up for a time trial in the tour. Of course, everyone does now.

Remember when Laurent Fignon lost the Tour de France in the final time trial. It was claimed that the extra drag of his ponytail cost him the race.

Just noticed I misread the original post, it is an on-on switch thats required. The additional off position is not required.

That would be a single pole double throw (SPDT) on-off-on :D
You've got the operation right, centre connects to either, or neither of the other terminals depending on position.

Ah, Buddy Guy. In my opinion, the greatest living bluesman. Almost unbelievably modest and self effacing. Probably the reason Hendrix and Clapton started playing strats. Top bloke!
Clapton's not bad either.

In my new amp the output stage is a triode connected KT66 rather than a true DHT. I'm very happy with the results using an EF86 pentode driver. :D

The three extra valves are for the phono stage, a hard wired phono II.
